This song was written in reaction to the new space race and the billionaire play thing of space tourism, when we still have so much to learn about this planet..
Released to coincide with COP26 UN climate change conference, which is being held in Glasgow, Scotland, a town well known to a few of us, and with a hope of encouraging some positive outcomes.
"Earth, the final frontier!" It is only being released in digital format.
Throughout the lockdown, I’ve been arranging and recording the rest of, the as yet, unfinished Oxbow Lake band album ‘Irreverent Melodies’, with this being one of many potential album tracks. Unfortunately only myself and Daryl (on organ) appear on this as we live close by and recording was easy. Had hoped others in band could contribute but alas….
So wasn’t sure what artist name to use, was thinking ‘Half Oxbows’ but just went with our normal handle.
